Six⥊feet

The height of the pandemic has everyone focusing on New York. A major concern being the subway system which 6 feet reflects. This series shows how something as simple using transportation now has a warped sense of fear as we go from loving thy neighbor to fearing them. A sense of distrust and panic is the mood when viewing this collection as the glitched checkered pattern invades the spaces which showcases the uncertainties, fear, and chaos. However this is not purely chaos it has a order to it, as does everything in nature.The duo colors of Pink and Blue also adds to an alluding sense of yin and yang while also showing that this issue is not black and white but the scale of gray between the two.

This piece was created solely through ibis Paint X. The process in which creating this collection was difficult for sophia because she had to carefully choose parts of the images to cut out and insert the checkered pattern. Not only that but maintaining the integrity of the checkered pattern, pink and blue tones, and the overall composition while adding the granulation, chromatic aberrations, and glitch effects proved to be harder than expected.
